This'll be a test of who still haunts this board...
For me, the most outstanding pre-event presentation was Nintendo's. I was already interested in the Wii before, but now im totally sold. Also, not only seeing Super Smash Brothers Brawl in action, but also seeing Solid Snake playable in it, gave me another very big reason to buy the console.
The game i was most impressed with was MGS4. It wasnt as funny as MGS trailers usually are, but the darker atmosphere reminded me a lot of the original MGS. Its the only game i want for the PS3, but it looks more than worthwhile.
The game/s i was most disappointed with was FFXIII. I hate Square Enix's "polymorphic content" strategy, which is basically a more marketable phrase they used instead of "shameless milking". So we have three FFXIII games coming out: two for the PS3, and one for the mobile. Great, three times the fun...>.>;; I would be more open minded, but the trailer they showed was just an Advent Children style action sequence, without any hint of its plot or gameplay. All style and no substance so far, so no change there for SE - and this isnt even the one Nomura's directing.
How about you guys? What were the highs, lows and mediums of what you heard (or even saw) of E3?

SSBB was definitely the high, followed by FFXIII and MGS4.
The Wii stuff in general was very seckis.
The PS3's pricing is a bit too much for me right now though.

Sounds like Sega's starting(not quite there yet) to pull their heads out of their asses.
The new Sonic game sounds kinda good, they're still tossing Shadow in though.
The big thing, although they're going the action/RPG route, is a Golden Axe sequel. 'bout friggin time.
Also like Konami's decision to make a sequel to Castlevania Bloodlines. Dislike the decision to keep the SotN style for it, but whatever.
This is stuff I'm reading over at Sega-16 btw, I don't really have main coverage of E3.

From what i've seen all looks pretty good. Wii looks like only one that might be low enough price to get tho, so hoping that the new controller is easy to adapt to because i imagine it'll open up some pretty cool ways to play.

So, we get to play as Solid Snake and hear Uematsu's music in the same game!?
Absolutely awesome theme. Love the dovetailing male and female vocal lines. Uematsu's been very good at that recently.

I was excited about Smash Brothers Brawl, too.
Of course HALO 3, maybe I can finally find out what happens.
Also, Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway.
I wouldn't mind trying out the new Sonic either.
I was sort of disappointed with the new Mario. I dunno, just didn't like the gameplay. Mario Galaxies I believe.
